Aircraft & Seats
The flights are operated with an Airbus A321 LR. You’d fly roughly 9 hours on the outbound flights and roughly 7 hours on your way back. JetBlue ordered Airbus A321 LR planes especially for their flights to Europe. These narrow-bodies have a great business class with lie-flat seats.
The plane has 22 Mint Suites and two Mint Studios in the first row. Every seat has direct access to the aisle. The Mint Studios are especially spacious, with a big sleeping area and a bigger TV screen. The Studios, however, cost €100 more. The product has received glaring reviews from almost any major site.

Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$40 (~€34) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.
There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.
Search & Book
According to the fare rules, tickets are on sale until January 6, 2026. A minimum stay of three nights is necessary to score the lowest tickets. The fare allows travel between January 6 and February 28, 2026. On this day, your inbound flight must arrive back in Europe.
You can use Google Flights to find additional flight dates. JetBlue sells them on their own website.
Editor’s Note: At the time of its introduction in 2021, JetBlue’s business class was lauded as the best premium seat available across the pond. While it has become harder to hold up the superlative, it is certainly among the top ten options above the North Atlantic. After early price dumps at the very beginning of their European routes (which came at the tail-end of the pandemic), prices for JetBlue’s business have been consistently high, making €1,600 a decent roundtrip fare.

Boston is known for its historic landmarks like the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, and Harvard University across the river in Cambridge. The local currency is the U.S. dollar (USD), and prices are relatively high, especially for accommodation and dining. The city has four distinct seasons—winters can be cold and snowy, while summers are warm and humid. Spring and fall are milder and popular times to visit.
